A new report from the National Institute of Standards and Technology shows how cities and towns are adapting to climate change.
It’s the latest in a series of climate assessments that have shown that the threat of extreme weather and extreme weather events are getting worse, while the risks from floods, droughts and heat waves are rising.
Cities are also adapting to flood risks and how to manage their water resources.
In this episode, the panel talks to a team of climate scientists, hydrologists, meteorologists, storm-monitoring specialists and other experts on the risks of climate-related extreme weather.
Listen to the story and find out how cities can better prepare for the impacts of climate disruption.
